Vice Chair Fisher called the meeting to order at 8:06 a.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Seegmiller moved to approve the minutes of February 26, 2009. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Mascaro absent for the vote.

H.B. 185    Transportation Amendments (Rep. W. Harper)

Rep. Harper introduced the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Harper moved to amend the bill as follows:


1.    Page 1, Lines 15 through 16 :    

             15              .

MOTION:    Rep. Holdaway moved to pass the bill out favorably as amended. The motion passed unanimously.

S.B. 98    Motor Fuel Theft Penalties (Sen. J. Greiner) (Rep. M. Noel)

Sen. Greiner introduced the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Wallis moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed with Rep. Seegmiller voting in opposition. Rep. Harper was absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Holdaway moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION:    Rep. Seegmiller moved to have H.B. 284 Smoking Ban in Motor Vehicle placed on the next agenda. The motion passed with Rep. Clark, Rep. Julie Fisher, Rep. Harper, Rep. Last, and Rep. Morley voting in opposition.

This bill was not heard.

MOTION:    Rep. Seegmiller moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously.
