Rep. Mascaro called the meeting to order at 8:27 a.m.

H.B. 38    Refugee Services Fund Amendments (Rep. C. Herrod)

Rep. Herrod explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Sumsion moved to pass out the bill with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Litvack and Rep. McIff absent for the vote.

H.B. 236    Department of Community and Culture Grants (Rep. S. Allen) (handout)

Rep. Allen explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Seegmiller moved to passed out the bill with a favorable recommendation . The motion passed unanimously with Rep. McIff absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Sumsion moved to amend the bill as follows:
