Rep. Mascaro called the meeting to order at 8:03 a.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Litvack moved to approve the minutes of the March 2, 2009 meeting. The motion passed unanimously.

H.B. 430    Economic Development Incentives for Alternative Energy Projects (Rep. K. Garn)

Rep. Garn introduced the bill to the committee with the assistance of Derek Miller, Managing Director at GOED.

MOTION:    Rep. Watkins moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.



H.B. 457    Truth in Music (Rep. G. Hughes)


Rep. Hughes introduced the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. McIff moved to amend the bill on page 7 line 207 as follows: "delete the period and insert 'which continues to perform.'" Committee discussion followed. Rep. McIff withdrew the amendment.

MOTION:    Rep. Litvack moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION:    Rep. Watkins moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously.

Rep. Mascaro adjourned the meeting at 8:58 a.m.
