Committee Chair Knudson called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
    
    Approval of Minutes

    
Chair Knudson asked for a motion on the Minutes dated March 2, 2009.

     MOTION: Sen. Greiner moved the above minutes be approved with the     

    correction of the spelling of his name.

1.     HB0413S01 County Authority Amendments (R. Menlove)

    Rep. Menlove presented the bill.

    The following individuals from the audience spoke in favor of the bill:

     MOTION: Sen. Greiner moved HB0413S01 be passed out with a favorable
    recommendation.

    The motion passed 3 - 0 - 4 with Sens. Bell, Jenkins, McCoy, and Robles absent for the
    vote.

     MOTION: Sen. Greiner moved this bill be placed on the Consent Calendar.

2.     HJR018 Joint Resolution for Legislative Appropriation Subcommittee Name     Change (N. Hendrickson)

    Rep. Hendrickson presented the bill.

     MOTION: Sen. Greiner moved the bill be passed out with a favorable recommenda-
    tion.

    The motion passed 3 - 0 - 4 with Sens. Bell, Jenkins, McCoy, and Robles absent for the
    vote.

     MOTION: Sen. Greiner moved the bill be placed on the Consent Calendar.

3.     HB0310 Authority of Lieutenant Governor to Perform Marriage (C. Wimmer)

     MOTION: Sen. Liljenquist moved the bill be passed out with a favorable
    recommendation.

    ation.

5.     HB0323 Amendments Regarding Notice on Utah Public Notice Website

    ation.

    ation.

     MOTION: Senator Greiner moved to adopt Amendment 1.
