Approval of Minutes
MOTION: Sen. Jones moved to approve minutes from February 6, February10, and February12, 2009 meetings.
The motion passed unanimously with Sens. Hinkins and Christensen absent for the vote.
Sen. Jones assumed the chair.
1. SCR004, Resolution Supporting Obesity Awareness (D.C. Buttars)
Sen. Buttars introduced the bill.
Mr. Simper, Ms. Richards, and Mr. Adams spoke for the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Buttars moved to pass S.C.R. 4, Resolution Supporting Obesity Awareness, out of committee with a favorable recommendation.
The motion passed unanimously.
Sen. Buttars resumed the chair.
2. HB0121S02, Retired Volunteer Health Care Practitioner Act (M. Brown)
Rep. Brown introduced the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Christensen moved to pass H.B. 121S02, Retired Volunteer Health Care Practitioner Act, out of committee with a favorable recommendation.
The motion passed unanimously.
