    Sen. Brent Goodfellow

Public Speakers Present:    Royce Van Tassell, Utah Taxpayers Association

Chair Niederhauser called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.

Approval of Minutes

MOTION: Sen. Goodfellow moved to approve the minutes of March 2, 2009.

The motion carried unanimously with Sens. Stephenson and Valentine absent for the vote.

Chair Niederhauser relinquished the chair to Sen. Goodfellow.

1.     S.B. 5 - Revenue Bond and Capital Facilities Authorizations

    Sen. Wayne Niederhauser presented and explained the bill.

    MOTION: Sen. Niederahuser moved to adopt S.B. 5 with a favorable recommendation.

    The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Valentine absent for the vote.


2.     H.B. 418 Delinquent Property Tax Amendments

    Rep. Gage Froerer presented and explained the bill.

    Mr. Van Tassell spoke in favor of the bill.



     MOTION: Sen. Stowell moved to adopt H.B. 418 with a favorable recommendation.

    The motion passed unanimously.

     MOTION: Sen. Goodfellow moved to adjourn.

    Chair Niederhauser adjourned the meeting at 5:20 p.m.
