Sen. Van Tassell called the meeting to order at 3:25 p.m.

1.    SB0179, Safety Belt Enforcement Amendments (C. Bramble)

    Sen. Bramble introduced the bill.

    Ms. Fairclough spoke to the bill.

     MOTION: Sen. Goodfellow moved to pass S.B. 179, Safety Belt Enforcement Amendments, out of committee with a favorable recommendation.

    The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Urquhart absent for the vote.

2.    SB0052, New Motor Vehicle Franchise Amendments (S. Killpack)

    Sen. Killpack introduced the bill.


    Mr. Bickmore spoke for the bill. Mr. Pignanelli spoke to the bill. Mr. Wilson spoke against the bill.

     MOTION: Sen. Urquhart moved to pass S.B. 52, New Motor Vehicle Franchise Amendments, out of committee with a favorable recommendation.

    The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Hinkins absent for the vote.

3.    SB0172, Underinsured Motorist Coverage Amendments (S. Urquhart)

    Sen. Urquhart introduced the bill.

    Mr. Sullivan spoke for the bill.

     MOTION: Sen. Mayne moved to pass S.B. 172, Underinsured Motorist Coverage Amendments, out of committee with a favorable recommendation.

    The motion passed unanimously with Sens. Hinkins and Killpack absent for the vote.

     MOTION: Sen. Urquhart moved to adjourn.

    The motion passed unanimously with Sens. Hinkins and Killpack absent for the vote.

    Sen. Van Tassell adjourned the meeting at 3:55 p.m.
