22 General Description:
23 This bill modifies the Transportation Code by establishing the Pioneer Trail Memorial
24 Highway.
25 Highlighted Provisions:
26 This bill:
27 . establishes the Pioneer Trail Memorial Highway on existing sections of Route 65
28 and Route 186; and
29 . requires the Department of Transportation to designate this highway on future state
30 highway maps.

39 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
40 Section 1. Section 72-4-212 is enacted to read:
41 72-4-212. Pioneer Trail Memorial Highway.
42 (1) There is established the Pioneer Trail Memorial Highway comprising the existing
43 highways beginning at the junction of Route 84 and Route 65 and proceeding southwesterly
44 on Route 65 to the junction of Route 65 and Emigration Canyon Road; then beginning again
45 in Salt Lake City at the junction of Route 186 and Sunnyside Avenue and proceeding westerly
46 on Route 186 to Interstate Route 15.
47 (2) In addition to other official designations, the Department of Transportation shall
48 designate the portions of the highway identified in Subsection (1) as the Pioneer Trail
49 Memorial Highway on future state highway maps.
