Rep. Painter called the meeting to order at 4:32 p.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Kiser moved to approve the minutes of the Feb. 19, 2010 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Webb absent for the vote.

H.B. 398    Sexually Oriented Business License Amendments (Rep. F.J. Seegmiller)

Rep. Seegmiller, assisted by Sim Gill, Salt Lake City Prosecutor, introduced the bill and explained it to the committee. Andrew McCullough, attorney, spoke against the bill. Dalane England, Eagle Forum, spoke in favor of the bill.


MOTION:    Rep. Biskupski moved to transmit H.B. 398 with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed with Rep. Froerer, Rep. Kiser, and Rep. Wallis voting in opposition and Rep. Webb absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Kiser moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Biskupski absent for the vote.

Rep. Painter adjourned the meeting at 4:58 p.m.
