Rep. Ray called the meeting to order at 4:32 p.m.
MOTION: Rep. Vickers moved to approve the minutes of the February 24, 2010 meeting with the following correction:
Rick Smith, Office of the Guardian Ad Litem, spoke in opposition to H.B. 170.
The motion to correct and approve the minutes passed unanimously.
S.B. 88S1 Pharmacy Practice Act Amendments (Sen. C. Bramble)
MOTION: Rep. Vickers moved to adopt 5th Substitute S.B. 88. The motion passed unanimously.
Sen. Bramble explained 5th Substitute S.B. 88 to the committee.

MOTION: Rep. Vickers moved to pass 5th Substitute S.B. 88 with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously.

S.B. 141 Utah Substance Abuse and Anti-violence Coordinating Council Amendments (Sen. J. S. Adams)
Sen. Adams explained the bill, assisted by Scott Reed, Attorney General's Office.
MOTION: Rep. Beck moved to pass the bill with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Ray absent for the vote.
MOTION: Rep. Beck moved to place S.B. 141 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Ray absent for the vote.
MOTION: Rep. Riesen moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Ray absent for the vote.
