Rep. Fowlke called the meeting to order at 9:04 a.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Bird moved to approve the minutes of the February 8, 2010 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Gibson, Rep. Johnson, Rep. King and Rep. McIff absent for the vote.

H.B. 278    Government Records Access and Management Act Amendments (Rep. C. Herrod)

Rep. Herrod explained the bill to the committee.

Spoke to the bill:    Adam Trupp, Utah Association of Counties.
            LeGrand Bitter, Utah Association of Special Districts.

MOTION:    Rep. Hutchings moved to proceed to the next item on the agenda. The motion passed unanimously.


Representative Fowlke relinquished the chair to Rep. Bird.

H.B. 284    Uniform Collaborative Law Act (Rep. L. Fowlke)

Representative Fowlke explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Johnson moved to pass H.B. 284 with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously.


MOTION:    Representative Biskupski moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously.

Rep. Bird adjourned the meeting at 9:44 a.m.
