Rep. Kiser called the meeting to order at 8:07 a.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Fisher moved to approve the minutes of the January 26, 2010 meeting. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Allen, Rep. Cosgrove, Rep. Dougall, Rep. Harper, Rep. Hughes, Rep. Hutchings, Rep. Moss and Rep. Newbold absent for the vote.

H.J.R. 2    Joint Resolution on Property Tax Exemption for Water Facilities (Rep. P. Painter)

Rep. Painter explained the bill to the committee and distributed handouts.

H.B. 54    Property Tax Exemption for Water Facilities (Rep. P. Painter)

Rep. Painter explained the bill to the committee .

MOTION:    Rep. Fisher moved to pass H.B. 54 with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Hughes and Rep. Sandstrom absent for the vote.

H.B. 75    Assessment Area Amendments (Rep. G. Froerer)

Rep. Froerer explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Froerer moved to adopt 1st Substitute H.B. 75. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Dougall, Rep. Hughes, Rep. Moss and Rep. Sandstrom absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Froerer moved to amend 1st Substitute H.B. 75 as follows:

H.B. 219    Delinquent Property Tax Amendments (Rep. G. Froerer)

Rep. Froerer explained the bill to the committee.
