Rep. Kiser called the meeting to order at 8:15 a.m.
MOTION: Rep. Dougall moved to approve the minutes of the February 9, 2010 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Fisher, Rep. Hughes, Rep. Hutchings and Rep. Sandstrom absent for the vote.
Rep. Kiser relinquished the chair to Rep. Froerer.
H.B. 48 Amendments to the Tourism, Recreation, Cultural, Convention, and Airport Facilities Tax Act (Rep. C. Frank)
MOTION: Rep. Dougall moved to adopt 1st Substitute H.B. 148. The motion passed with Rep. Vickers voting in opposition and Rep. Fisher, Rep. Hughes, Rep. Hutchings and Rep. Sandstrom absent for the vote.
Rep. Frank explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION: Rep. Harper moved to amend 1st Sub. H.B. 48 as follows:
1. Page 4, Lines 104 through 106 :
104 (B) extend the term for repayment of the bond, note, or other evidence of indebtedness;
105 (C) refinance the bond, note, or other evidence of indebtedness
if refinancing the
bond, note, or other evidence of indebtedness extends the term for repayment of the
bond, note, or other evidence of indebtedness
; or
106 (D) take an action with respect to the bond, note, or other evidence of indebtedness
The motion to amend 1st Sub. H.B. 48 passed unanimously with Rep. Allen absent for the vote.
MOTION: Rep. Kiser moved to pass 1st Sub. H.B. 48 with a favorable recommendation. The motion failed with Rep. Dougall, Rep. Harper, Rep. Hughes, Rep. Hutchings, Rep. Newbold and Rep. Kiser voting in favor of the motion.
MOTION: Rep. Vickers moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously.
Rep. Froerer adjourned the meeting at 9:57 a.m.
