Rep. Kiser called the meeting to order at 8:52 a.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Dougall moved to approve the minutes of the February 11, 2010 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Froerer and Rep. Seelig absent for the vote.

S.B. 29    Amendments to Individual Income Tax Definition of Resident Individual (Sen. C. Bramble) (Rep. W. Harper)

Sen. Bramble explained the bill to the committee.

Spoke in favor of the bill:    Bruce Johnson, Utah State Tax Commission

MOTION:    Rep. Fisher moved to pass S.B. 29 with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Froerer and Rep. Seelig absent for the vote.


S.B. 125    Intangible Property Amendments (Sen. C. Bramble) (Rep. K. Garn)

Sen. Bramble explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Dougall moved to pass S.B. 125 with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION:    Rep. Dougall moved to place S.B. 125 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously.


MOTION:    Rep. Johnson moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously.

Rep. Kiser adjourned the meeting at 9:02 a.m.
