Rep. Gregory Hughes called the meeting to order at 4:10 p.m.

1.    H.R. 3    House Rules Resolution - Recodification and Revisions (Rep. B. Ferry)

Rep. Ferry explained H.R. 3 House Rules Resolution and discussed with the committee changes that were made to the House Rules.

MOTION:    Rep. Ferry moved the following amendments:

1.    Page 14, Lines 414 through 417 :    

             414          (6) supervise all House of Representatives' non-partisan personnel
  during a session       and assign them

             415      duties and responsibilities;
             416          (7) keep a record of the attendance of
{   all House of Representatives' employees   }        each in-session employee       and

             417      ensure that
{   any   }        each       in-session employee who is absent is not paid for the days of absence;

    The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION:    Rep. Biskupski moved the following amendments:

1.    Page 14, Lines 416 through 417 :    

             416          (7) keep a record of the attendance of all House of Representatives' employees and
             417      ensure that any in-session employee
{   who is absent is not paid for the days of absence   }        is paid only for hours worked       ;

        The motion passed unanimously.




MOTION:    Rep. Morley moved to pass the resolution out with a favorable recommendation as amended.

SUBSTITUTE
MOTION:    Rep. Hendrickson moved to pass the resolution out with a favorable recommendation as amended and place it at the top of the Third Reading Calendar. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION:    Rep. Biskupski moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously and the Vice Chair adjourned the meeting at 4:55 p.m.
