Chair Daw called the meeting to order at 9:05 a.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Janice Fisher moved to approve the minutes of February 17, 2010. The         motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Cosgrove absent for the vote.

H.B. 327    Autism Awareness Support Special Group License Plate (Rep. R. Edwards)

Rep. Edwards introduced the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Seegmiller moved to amend the bill as follows:


1.    Page 12, Lines 338 through 339 :

{   The   }        Upon appropriation by the Legislature, the       superintendent shall distribute funds in the account to one or more charitable

The motion to amend passed unanimously.

MOTION:    Rep. Menlove moved to pass the bill out favorably as amended.

The motion passed with Rep. Anderson, Rep. Daw, Rep. Harper, Rep. Morley, and Rep. Wallis voting in opposition.

Rep. Daw relinquished the chair to Rep. Harper.

1st Sub. H.B. 131    B and C Road Construction Amendments (Rep. M. Noel)

Rep. Noel introduced the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Morley moved to amend 1st Substitute H.B. 131 as follows:

        Lines 16 and 44, delete "no," and insert less than two before the word "bids."

SUBSTITUTE
MOTION:    Rep. Mascaro moved to return the bill to Rules Committee for interim study.

MOTION:    Rep. Janice Fisher moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously with Rep.         Daw absent for the vote.

H.B. 151    Utah High School Rodeo Support Special Group License Plate (Rep. J. Gowans)

This bill was not considered.
