Rep. McIff called the meeting to order at 9:06 a.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Watkins moved to approve the minutes of January 26, 2010. The motion         passed unanimously with Rep. Litvack, Rep. Seegmiller, and Rep. Sumsion         absent for the vote.

H.B. 18    Unemployment Insurance Amendments (Rep. S. Mascaro)

Rep. Mascaro explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Mascaro moved to amend the bill as follows:

Page 6, Line 173: after "2013," insert "and thereafter as requested,".

MOTION:    Rep. Herrod moved to amend the bill as follows:

Page 6, Line 173: After "2011," delete "2012, and 2013," and insert "and annually thereafter,"

The motion to pass substitute motion to amend passed unanimously.

MOTION:    Rep. Watkins moved to pass the bill out as amended with a favorable              recommendation. The motion passed with Rep. Herrod and Rep. Sumsion voting         in opposition.

MOTION:    Rep. Seegmiller moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously.

Rep. McIff adjourned the meeting at 9:53 a.m.
