A list of visitors and a copy of handouts are filed with the committee minutes.

Chair Valentine called the meeting to order at 8:15 a.m, and announced that S.B. 274 is scheduled for committee review and public comment only. No committee action will be taken on the bill until the next meeting.

1.     S.B. 274 Online Pharmacy Amendments (Bramble)
    
    Sen. Bramble explained the bill and answered questions from the committee.

2.    H.B. 193 Occupations and Professions Amendments (R. Lockhart)

    
Rep. Lockhart introduced the bill.

    Mark Steinagel, Director, Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing clarified the     bill and answered questions from the committee.

    MOTION:
Sen. VanTassell moved to transmit H.B. 193 with a favorable recommendation.

    The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Liljenquist absent for the vote.

Sen. Valentine announced that S.B. 173 and S.B. 253 are being held at the request of the sponsors.


3.    S.B. 179 Utah Revised Business Corporation Act Amendments (D. Liljenquist)

    Sen. Liljenquist explained the bill.

     MOTION: Sen. Liljenquist moved to transmit S.B. 179 with a favorable recommendation.

    The motion passed unanimously.

     MOTION: Sen. Davis moved to adjourn.

    The motion passed unanimously.    

     Committee Chair Valentine adjourned the meeting at 9:01 a.m.
