Chair Bramble called the meeting to order at 8:50 A.M. He announced that S.B. 59 would not be heard.
MOTION: Sen. Morgan moved to approve the minutes of February 9, 2010.
The motion passed unanimously.
1. S.B. 69 -- College of Eastern Utah Affiliation with Utah State University
MOTION: Sen. Stephenson moved to adopt 1st Substitute S.B. 69
The motion passed unanimously.
Sen. Hinkins presented and explained the bill.
Commissioner Sederburg, Pres. King, Pres. Albrecht, and Mr. Dmitrich spoke in favor of the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Stephenson moved to pass 1st Substitute S.B. 69 out of committee with a favorable recommendation
