SUBDIVISIONS STANDING COMMITTEE

Chair Knudson called the meeting to order at 8:20 a.m.

1.     SB0037 Impact Fee Revisions (W. Niederhauser)

     MOTION: Sen. Knudson moved to adopt the following amendments:

1.    Page 13, Lines 382 through 383 :    

             382          [(V) (Aa) placed] (C)
  subject to Subsection (2)(b)(iv),       be posted on the Utah Public Notice Website created under

             383      Section 63F-1-701 [, if the local political subdivision:].

2.    Page 14, Line 401 :    

             401      conflict with the facilities proposed in the capital facilities plan.]
    
  (iv) For a private entity required to post notice on the Utah Public Notice Website under Subsection (2)(b)(iii):

        (A) the private entity shall give notice to the general purpose local government in which the private entity's primary business office is located; and
        (B) the general purpose local government described in Subsection (2)(b)(iv)(A) shall post the notice on the Utah Public Notice Website.

The motion passed 4 - 0 - 2

    The following individual from the audience spoke to the bill: Jodi Hoffman, League of Cities & Towns and Chris Gamvroulas, Property Rights Coalition

     MOTION: Sen. Liljenquist moved to pass SB0037 out favorably.

    The motion passed unanimously with a vote of 4 - 0 - 2.

2.     SB0093 Guber national Appointment Powers Amendments (C. Bramble)
    
    Sen. Bramble presented the bill.

     MOTION: Sen. Liljenquist moved to pass SB0093 out favorably .

    
The motion passed unanimously with a vote of 4 - 0 - 2.

3.    SB0084 Special Service District Amendments (D. Hinkins)

    Sen. Hinkins presented the bill.

     MOTION: Sen. Greiner moved to pass SB0084 out favorably.


    The motion passed unanimously with a vote of 4 - 0 - 2.

     MOTION: Sen. Greiner moved to adjourn.

    The meeting was adjourned at 8:50 a.m. by Chair Knudson.
