Chair Stevenson called the meeting to order at 9:11 p.m.
Approval of Minutes
MOTION: Sen. Okurland moved to approve minutes of the February 8 , 2010, meeting.
The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Madsen Absent for the vote.
Chair Stevenson relinquished the chair to Sen. Okerlund.
1. S.B. 148 - Guaranteed Asset Protection Waivers
Sen. Stevenson introduced and explained the bill.
Craig Bickmore, Director, New Car Dealers, spoke in favor of the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Morgan moved to pass S.B. 148 out of committee with a favorable recommendation.
The motion passed unanimously.
Sen. Okerlund relinquished the chair to Chair Stevenson
2. H.B. 55 - Department of Community and Culture Grants Amendments
Rep. Fisher introduced and explained the bill.
Mike Hansen, Deputy Director, Department of Community and Culture, spoke in favor of the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Jones moved to pass H.B. 55 out of committee with a favorable recommendation.
The motion passed unanimously.
MOTION: Sen. Morgan moved to place H.B. 55 on the Consent Calendar.
The motion passed unanimously.
MOTION: Sen. Madsen moved to adjourn.
