Chair Stevenson called the meeting to order at 8:05 a.m.

    MOTION: Sen. Jones to approve the minutes of the February 19, 2010 meeting.

    The motion passed unanimously.

1.     S. B. 198 - Economic Development Incentive Amendments
    
    Sen. John Valentine presented and explained this bill.

    Mr. Miller spoke in favor of this bill.

     MOTION: Sen. Jones moved to pass S.B. 198 out of committee with a favorable recommendation

    The motion passed unanimously.

2.     H.B. 118 -Economic Development Incentives Modifications

    Rep. Wayne Harper presented and explained this bill.

    Mr. Miller and Mr. Bingham spoke in favor of this bill.

     MOTION: Sen. Okerlund moved to pass H.B. 118 out of committee with a favorable recommendation.

    The motion passed unanimously.


3.     H.B. 273 - Utah International Trade Commission Amendments

    Rep. Eric Hutchings presented and explained this bill.

     MOTION: Sen. Madsen moved to pass H.B. 273 out of committee with a favorable recommendation.

    The motion passed unanimously.

     MOTION: Sen. Jones moved to place H.B. 273 on the consent calendar.

    The motion passed unanimously.

    MOTION: Sen. Jones moved to adjourn.

    The motion passed unanimously.

    Chair Stevenson adjourned the meeting at 8:45 a.m.
