Rep. Wright called the meeting to order at 4:03 p.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Arent moved to approve the minutes of February 10, 2011. The motion passed unanimously. Rep. Hughes and Rep. Newbold were absent for the vote.

S.B. 123    Restrictions on Lobbying Expenditures - Public Education (Sen. S. Jenkins) (Rep. B. Dee)

Sen. Jenkins introduced the bill which modifies the Budgetary Procedures Act by amending the provisions for restricting an agency from using state appropriated money to pay a lobbyist.

MOTION:    Rep. Newbold moved to pass the bill out with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously.
