Rep. Powell called the meeting to order at 8:05 a.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Richardson moved to approve the minutes of the February 18, 2011 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Fisher, Rep. Greenwood and Rep. Oda absent for the vote.

H.B. 410    Access to Voter Date of Birth Records (Rep. R. Edwards)

Rep. Edwards presented the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Richardson moved to table the bill. The motion failed with Rep. Perry, Rep. Richardson, Rep. Sagers and Rep. Vickers voting in favor of the motion.

MOTION:    Rep. Greenwood moved to pass the bill with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed with Rep. Perry, Rep. Richardson and Rep. Sagers voting against the motion. Rep. Vickers was absent for the vote.

H.J.R. 11    Joint Resolution Honoring Law Enforcement Officers Killed in the Line of Fire (Rep. L. Perry)

Rep. Perry presented the resolution to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Sagers moved to pass the resolution with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Vickers absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Perry moved to place H.J.R. 11 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Vickers absent for the vote.

S.B. 130    Surplus Property Amendments (Sen. S. Reid) (Rep. R. Wilcox)

Sen. Reid introduced the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Galvez moved to pass the bill with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Vickers absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Greenwood moved to place S.B. 130 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Vickers absent for the vote.

Sen. Reid presented the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Sagers moved to pass the resolution with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed with Rep. Chavez-Houck and Rep. Fisher voting in opposition to the motion. Rep. Vickers was absent for the vote.
