Rep. Gibson called the meeting to order at 2:05 p.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Biskupski moved to approve the minutes of the February 2, 2011 meeting. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Cox, Rep. Hutchings, Rep. King, and Rep. McIff absent for the vote.

H.B. 257    Concealed Firearm Act Modifications (Rep. R. Menlove)

MOTION:    Rep. Biskupski moved to replace H.B. 257 with 1st Substitute H.B. 257. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Hutchings and Rep. McIff absent for the vote.

Rep. Menlove presented the bill with the assistance of Oscar Hadley, Grantsville City.

MOTION:    Rep. Herrod moved to pass the bill with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Cox absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Biskupski moved to place 1st Substitute H.B. 257 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Cox absent for the vote.

Rep. Gibson relinquished the chair to Rep. McIff

Rep. Gibson adjourned the meeting at 3:45 p.m.
