Rep. Greenwood called the meeting to order at 2:10 p.m.

H.B. 214    Concealed Firearm Permit Fees (Rep. C. Oda)

Rep. Oda further explained the bill to the committee.

Spoke to the bill:    Ms. Alice Moffat, Bureau Chief, Bureau of Criminal Investigation

MOTION:    Rep. Oda moved to pass the bill with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Ipson and Rep. Litvack absent for the vote.

H.B. 223    Innkeeper's Rights Act Modifications (Rep. S. Sandstrom)

Rep. Sandstrom explained the bill to the committee.

Spoke to the bill:    Mr. Michael Johnson, Utah Hotel and Lodging Association

MOTION:    Rep. Perry moved to pass the bill with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed, with Rep. Butterfield voting in opposition.

MOTION:    Rep. Perry moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously.
