Rep. Painter called the meeting to order at 4:10 p.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Duckworth moved to approve the minutes of the January 27, 2011 meeting. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Clark and Rep. Wimmer absent for the vote.

S.B. 12    Alcoholic Beverage Control Act - Modifications (Sen. J. Valentine) (Rep. J. Dunnigan)

Sen. Valentine explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Froerer moved to pass S.B. 12 with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Clark and Rep. Wimmer absent for the vote.






S.B. 22    Corporate Franchise and Income Tax Amendments (Sen. J. S. Adams) (Rep. T. Kiser)

Sen. Adams explained the bill to the committee, assisted by Bruce Johnson, Utah State Tax Commission.

MOTION:    Rep. Newbold moved to pass S.B. 22 with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Wimmer absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Clark moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Wimmer absent for the vote. Rep. Painter adjourned the meeting at 4:30 p.m.
