Rep. Painter called the meeting to order at 4:10 p.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Dougall moved to approve the minutes of the February 3, 2011 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Briscoe, Rep. Duckworth, Rep. Harper, Rep. King, Rep. Wimmer absent for the vote.


H.B. 94    Income Tax Credit for Combat Related Death (Rep. M. Newbold)

Rep. Newbold explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Cosgrove moved to pass H.B. 94 with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Duckworth and Rep. Harper absent for the vote.



H.B. 82    Procedures for Claiming a Sales and Use Tax Exemption for Certain Lodging Related Purchases (Rep. T. Kiser)

Rep. Kiser explained the bill to the committee, assisted by Alma Ereksen, hotel owner.

H.B. 105    Delinquent Property Tax Certificates (Rep. G. Froerer)

        This bill was not considered.


H.J.R. 20    Joint Resolution Urging Congress to Repeal the 16th Amendment to the United States Constitution (Rep. C. Wimmer)

        This bill was not considered.

MOTION:    Rep. Wimmer moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Dougall, Rep. Froerer and Rep. Harper absent for the vote. Rep. Painter adjourned the meeting at 5:14 p.m.
