Rep. Painter called the meeting to order at 8:10 a.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Duckworth moved to approve the minutes of the February 15, 2011 meeting. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Dougall, Rep. Harper and Rep. Newbold absent for the vote.


H.B. 440    Beer Tax Amendments (Rep. V. Peterson)

Rep. Peterson explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Fisher moved to pass H.B. 440 with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Clark, Rep. Cosgrove, Rep. Dougall, Rep. Froerer, Rep. Harper, Rep. King and Rep. Newbold absent for the vote.


MOTION:    Rep. Brown moved to place H.B. 440 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Clark, Rep. Cosgrove, Rep. Dougall, Rep. Froerer, Rep. Harper, Rep. King and Rep. Newbold absent for the vote.


1st Sub. S.B. 16    State Tax Commission Tax, Fee, or Charge Administration and Collection Amendments (Sen. W. Niederhauser) (Rep. J. Dougall)

Sen. Niederhauser explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Froerer moved to pass 1st Sub. S.B. 16 with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Dougall, Rep. Harper, and Rep. Newbold absent for the vote.

Rep. Painter relinquished the chair to Rep. Wimmer.


3rd Sub. S.B. 125    Property Tax Exemption Amendments (Sen. C. Bramble) (Rep. P. Painter)


Rep. Painter explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Cosgrove moved to pass 3rd. Sub. S.B.125 with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Clark, Rep. Dougall, Rep. Harper and Rep. Newbold absent for the vote.

This bill was not lifted from the table and was returned to the Rules Committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Dougall moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously. Rep. Painter adjourned the meeting at 9:58 a.m.
