Rep. Ryan Wilcox called the meeting to order at 11:38 a.m.

1.    H.J.R. 12    Joint Resolution on Joint Rules Changes (Rep. W. Harper)

    Rep. Harper presented 2nd Sub. H.J.R. 12, Joint Resolution on Joint Rules Changes (Rep. W. Harper), to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Wright moved to adopt 2nd Sub. H.J.R. 12, Joint Resolution on Joint Rules Changes (Rep. W. Harper). The motion passed unanimously.

    Rep. Harper explained the substitute resolution to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Wright moved to pass 2nd Sub. H.J.R. 12, Joint Resolution on Joint Rules Changes (Rep. W. Harper), with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously.

2.    H.J.R. 13    Joint Resolution to Implement Legislative Compensation Joint Rules Changes (Rep. W. Harper)

    Rep. Harper presented 1st Sub. H.J.R. 13, Joint Resolution to Implement Legislative Compensation Joint Rules Changes (Rep. W. Harper), to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Wright moved to adopt 1st Sub. H.J.R. 13, Joint Resolution to Implement Legislative Compensation Joint Rules Changes (Rep. W. Harper). The motion passed with Rep. Clark voting in opposition.

Mr. Ronald Mortensen, David County 912 Project, spoke for the bill.
Mr. Gerald Hasty, Citizen of Layton, spoke to the bill.

MOTION:    Rep. Morley moved to pass 1st Sub. H.J.R. 13, Joint Resolution to Implement Legislative Compensation Joint Rules Changes (Rep. W. Harper), with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed with Rep. Clark voting in opposition.

MOTION:    Rep. Morley moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously and the Vice Chair adjourned the meeting at 12:07 p.m.
