Chair Valentine called the meeting to order at 2:44 p.m. and announced that at the requests of the sponsors, S.B. 109 and S.B. 55, would not be considered at today's meeting.
Approval of Minutes
MOTION: Sen. Bramble moved to approve minutes of the February 2, 2011, meeting.
The motion passed unanimously.
1. S.B.128 Regulatory Amendments (C. Bramble)
Sen. Bramble explained the bill and answered questions from the committee.
Russell Purdy, Optometrist, Utah Optometrist Association spoke in support of the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Bramble moved to transmit S.B. 128 with a favorable recommendation.
Committee Chair Valentine declared a conflict of interest.
The motion passed unanimously.
MOTION: Sen. Bramble moved to adjourn.
