Chair Stephenson called the meeting to order at 4:17 P.M.
MOTION: Sen. Thatcher moved to approve the minutes of the January 27, 2011 meeting.
The motion passed unanimously.
1. H.B. 218 -- Clubs in Public Schools
Rep. Sandstrom introduced and explained the bill.
Ms. Davies, Mr. Leishman, Ms. Taylor, Ms. Schmidt, Mr. Robinson, and Ms. Shaw spoke in favor of the bill.
Ms. Harrington and Ms. Kennett spoke to the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Thatcher moved to pass H.B. 218 out of committee with a favorable recommendation.
