MOTION: Sen. J. Stevenson moved to approve the minutes of the Feb. 28, 2011 meeting.
The motion passed unanimously with Sens. Niederhauser and Thatcher absent for the vote.
1. 1st Sub. H.B. 152 - School Community Councils Amendments
Rep. Wright introduced and explained the bill.
Mr. Cannon, Dr. Menlove, and Ms. Clark spoke in favor of the bill.
Mr. Holdaway and Mr. Uno spoke to the bill.
MOTION: Sen. J. Stevenson moved to pass 1st Sub. H.B. 152 out of committee with a favorable recommendation.
The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Niederhauser absent for the vote.
2. H.B. 183 - School District Leave Policies
Rep. Grover introduced and explained the bill.
