Approval of Minutes
MOTION: Sen. Dayton moved to approve the minutes of the February 4, 2011 meeting.
The motion passed unanimously.
1. SB 149 - Qualifications for the Executive Director of the Department of Health.
MOTION: Sen. Robles moved to amend SB 149 as follows. The motion passed unanimously.
On Page 2 Line #45 After "which at least" delete "three" and insert "two"
Sen. Liljenquist presented and explained this bill.
MOTION: Sen. Dayton moved to pass SB 149 as amended out of committee with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously.
2. HB 208 - Administrative Services Amendments
MOTION: Sen. Dayton moved to delete in title and body HB 208 and place in lieu thereof
1st Substitute HB 208. The motion passed unanimously.
Rep. Harper presented and explained this bill.
MOTION: Sen. Robles moved to pass 1st Substitute HB 208 out of committee with a
favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously.
3. SB 66 - Military Leave for an Elected Official of a Political Subdivision

MOTION: Sen. Thatcher moved to delete in title and body SB 43 and place in lieu thereof
1st Substitute SB 43. The motion passed unanimously.
Sen. Thatcher asked that this bill be held until Friday's meeting.
5. SB 135 - Department of Public Safety Duties Amendments
Sen. Thatcher presented and explained this bill.
MOTION: Sen. Thatcher moved to pass SB 135 out of committee with a favorable
recommendation. The motion passed unanimously.

6. SJR 13 - Joint Resolution - Request for Proposals
