Sen. Buttars called the meeting to order at 2:15.

Approval of Minutes

     MOTION: Sen. Jones moved to approve the minutes of January 31, 2011.

    The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Madsen and Sen. Roblesabsent for the vote.

1.     HB0014 - Catastrophic Mental Health Coverage - Sunset Act (J. Dunnigan)

    Rep. Dunnigan introduced the bill.

    Mr. Thomas spoke to the bill.

     MOTION: Sen. Christensen moved to pass H.B. 14 out of committee with a favorable recommendation.

    The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Madsen and Sen. Robles absent for the vote.

     MOTION: Sen. Jones moved to place H.B. 14 on the Consent Calendar.

    The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Madsen and Sen. Robles absent for the vote.



2.     HB0064 - Human Blood Procurement and Use (S. Handy)

    Rep. Handy introduced the bill.

    Ms. Wulf spoke to the bill.

     MOTION: Sen. Jones moved to pass H.B. 64 out of committee with a favorable recommendation.

    The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Robles absent for the vote.


    MOTION: Sen. Reid moved to adjourn.

    The motion passed unanimously.

    The meeting adjourned at 2:32 p.m.
