Committee Chair Madsen called the meeting to order at 2:15 p.m.     
Approval of Minutes

     MOTION: Sen. McAdams moved to approve the minutes of the February 1, and February 3, 2011 meetings.

    
The motion passed unanimously.


1.     HB0214 - Concealed Firearm Permit Fees (C. Oda)

    
Rep. Oda presented the bill.

    Ms. Moffat and Mr. Anderson spoke to the bill.

     MOTION: Sen. Waddoups moved to pass H.B. 214 with a favorable recommendation.

    
The motion passed unanimously.

2.      SB0147 - Forgery Law Amendments (M. Madsen)

    Sen. Madsen presented the bill.


     MOTION: Sen. Madsen made a motion to adopt Amendment 1 dated January 24, 2011 as follows:


1.    Page 1, Lines 13 through 14 :    

             13          .    provides a penalty of a second degree felony for a person guilty of producing
