Committee Chair Madsen called the meeting to order at 4:10 p.m.     
1.     SB0159 - Sex Offender Registry Revisions (D. Stowell)

    Sen. Stowell presented the bill.

    Mr. Gordon spoke to the bill.

    Mr. Jones spoke in favor of the bill.

     MOTION:    Sen. Hillyard moved to pass S.B. 159 with a favorable recommendation.

    The motion passed 5-1-0 with Sen. Madsen voting in opposition to the bill.

2.     SB0164 - Attorney Fees and Court Costs Amendments (B. McAdams)    

    Sen. McAdams presented the bill.

    Mr. Robson spoke to the bill.


     MOTION:    Sen. Romero moved to pass S.B. 164 with a favorable recommendation.

    The motion passed unanimously.

3.     SB0230 - DNA Amendments (J. S. Adams)

    Sen. Adams presented the bill.

    
Mr. Wilson and Ms. Johnson spoke to the bill.

    MOTION:    
Sen. Hillyard moved to pass S.B. 230 with a favorable recommendation.

    The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Urquhart absent for the vote.

4.     HB0010 - Renewal of Judgment Act (G. Froerer)

    MOTION:
    Sen. Hillyard moved to adopt Amendment #1

    
The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Urquhart absent for the vote.

    
Rep. Froerer presented the bill as amended.

     MOTION:    Sen. Waddoups moved to pass H.B. 10 as amended with a favorable recommendation.

    The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Urquhart absent for the vote.

5.     HB0071 - Victim Rights Amendments (B. Wilson)

    
Rep. Wilson presented the bill.

    Mr. Wilson spoke in favor of the bill.

     MOTION:    Sen. Romero moved to pass H.B. 71 with a favorable recommendation.

    The motion passed unanimously.

6.     HB0207S02 - Juvenile Amendments (W. Harper)

    Sen. Hillyard presented the bill.

     MOTION:    Sen. Hillyard moved to pass 2nd Substitute H.B. 207 with a favorable recommendation.


    The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Urquhart absent for the vote.

     MOTION:    Sen Hillyard moved to place the bill on Consent Calendar.

    The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Urquhart absent for the vote.
    

     MOTION: Sen. Hillyard moved to adjourn.
