13 This joint resolution of the Legislature reappoints Michael E. Christensen as Director of
14 the Office of Legislative Research and General Counsel.

18 and General Counsel for a six-year term beginning December 1, 2012.

22 Be it resolved by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
23 WHEREAS, pursuant to Subsection 36-12-7 (3), Utah Code Annotated 1953, the
24 Legislative Management Committee of the Legislature has recommended the reappointment of
25 Michael E. Christensen as Director of the Office of Legislative Research and General Counsel
26 for the Utah Legislature; and
27 WHEREAS, the reappointment of Michael E. Christensen as Director of the Office of

28 Legislative Research and General Counsel for a term of office of six years commencing
29 December 1, 2012, is subject by statute to the further approval of a majority vote of both the
30 Senate and the House of Representatives:
31 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Legislature of the state of Utah that
32 Michael E. Christensen's reappointment as Director of the Office of Legislative Research and
33 General Counsel for the Utah Legislature is approved for a six-year term of office beginning
34 December 1, 2012.
