    The Education Committee reports a favorable recommendation on H.B. 156, PUBLIC EDUCATION PROGRAM AMENDMENTS, by Representative M. Newbold, with the following amendments:

1.    Page 1, Lines 12 through 13 :

{   eliminates the requirement to take a course in financial literacy to graduate from

  requires the State Board of Education to provide a general financial literacy test-out option;
