Chair Dunnigan called the meeting to order at 2:09 p.m.
MOTION: Rep. Duckworth moved to approve the minutes of the January 24, 2012 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Last, Rep. Morley, and Rep. Wiley absent for the vote.
MOTION: Rep. Pitcher moved to approve the minutes of the January 25, 2012 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Last, Rep. Morley, and Rep. Wiley absent for the vote.
H.B. 61 Portable Electronics Insurance Related Amendments (Rep. T. Kiser)
MOTION: Rep. Kiser moved to replace H.B. 61 with 1st Substitute H.B. 61 . The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Last, Rep. Morley, and Rep. Wiley absent for the vote.
Rep. Kiser explained the bill to the committee assisted by Paul Rogers and Randy Smart from Asurion.
Spoke to the bill: Scott Hymas, R. C. Willey CEO
MOTION: Rep. Ipson moved to transmit 1st Substitute H.B. 61 with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed with Rep. Bird voting in opposition.
Chair Dunnigan relinquished the chair to Vice Chair Pitcher.
H.B. 214 Professional Employer Organization Licensing Act Amendments (Rep. J. Dunnigan)
Rep. Dunnigan explained the bill to the committee accompanied by Tanji Northrup, Utah Department of Insurance.

MOTION: Rep. Brown moved to transmit H.B. 214 with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously.
MOTION: Rep. Kiser moved to place H.B. 214 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously.
MOTION: Rep. Ipson moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously.
