Chair Dunnigan called the meeting to order at 2:04 p.m.

H.B. 26    Purchasing from Community Rehabilitation Programs Amendments (Rep. M. Poulson)

MOTION:    Rep. Froerer moved to replace H.B. 26 with 2nd Substitute H.B. 26 . The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Duckworth, Rep. Ipson, Rep. Last, and Rep. Morley absent for the vote.     

Rep. Poulson explained the bill to the committee assisted by Steve Mascaro, Utah Works.

MOTION:    Rep. Wiley moved to transmit 2nd Substitute H.B. 26 with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Ipson, Rep. Last, and Rep. Morley absent for the vote.

S.B. 108    Financial Institution Amendments (Sen. C. Bramble)

Sen. Bramble explained the bill to the committee assisted by Edward Leary, Division of Financial Institutions.


MOTION:    Rep. Pitcher moved to transmit S.B. 108 with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Bird, Rep. Ipson, and Rep. Last absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Kiser moved to place S.B. 108 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Ipson and Rep. Last absent for the vote.

1st Sub. S.B. 92    Department of Commerce License Related Amendments (Sen. K. Mayne)

Sen. Mayne explained the bill to the committee assisted by Mark Steinagel, Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing.

MOTION:    Rep. Duckworth moved to transmit 1st Substitute S.B. 92 with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Brown and Rep. Ipson absent for the vote.
