Vice Chair Pitcher called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m.
MOTION: Rep. Ipson moved to approve the minutes of the February 22, 2012 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Brown, Rep. Duckworth, and Rep. Last absent for the vote.
H.B. 167 Motor Vehicle Insurance Modifications (Rep. T. Kiser)
Rep. Kiser assisted by Chris Purcell, State Farm Insurance, and Steve Sullivan, Utah Association for Justice, explained the bill to the committee.
MOTION: Rep. Ipson moved to transmit H.B. 167 with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Duckworth and Rep. Wilson absent for the vote.
