Chair Barrus called the meeting to order at 4:07 p.m.

H.B. 60    Proceeds from Federal Grants for Miners' Hospital (Rep. C. Watkins)

Rep. Watkins introduced the bill to the committee.

Spoke to the bill:    Ms. Paula Plant, Utah Office of Education

MOTION:    Rep. Hendrickson moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Wilcox and Rep. Noel absent for the vote.

Chair Barrus relinquished the chair to Vice Chair Sandstrom.





H.B. 208    Limits on Landowner Liability for Public Recreation (Rep. R. Barrus)

Rep. Barrus introduced the bill to the committee.

Spoke for the bill:    Mr. Steve Durtschi , Utah Back Country Pilots

MOTION:    Rep. Briscoe moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION:    Rep. Watkins moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously.
