MOTION: Rep. Painter moved to approve the minutes of Feb. 23, 2012. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Brown and Rep. Dee absent for the vote.
H.B. 367 Trust Lands Amendments (Rep. M. Noel)
Rep. Noel introduced the bill to the committee.
MOTION: Rep. Noel moved to amend the bill as follows:

H.C.R. 12 Concurrent Resolution Urging Congress to Transfer Navajo Trust Fund Money (Rep. M. Noel)
Rep. Noel introduced the resolution to the committee.
MOTION: Rep. Draxler moved to amend the resolution as follows:
1. Page 1, Lines 24 through 27 :
24 Be it resolved by the Legislature of the state of Utah, the Governor concurring therein:
25 WHEREAS, the United States Congress
, in 1933 and again in 1968,
authorized the state of Utah to receive 37.5%
26 of the royalties from the production of mineral leases on that portion of the Navajo Reservation
27 in Utah, to be expended for the benefit of the Navajo residents of San Juan County, Utah;
