Chair Webb called the meeting to order at 2:05 p.m.

MOTION:         Rep. Poulson moved to approve the minutes of the February 7, 2012 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Anderson, Rep. Draxler, Rep. Edwards, Rep. Morley, Rep. Sandstrom, and Rep. Seelig absent for the vote.

H.B. 119    Study on Signing Petitions Online (Rep. R. Chavez-Houck)

Rep. Chavez-Houck introduced the bill to the committee and provided a handout.

MOTION:    Rep. Edwards moved to pass H.B. 119 out favorably. The motion passed with Rep. Anderson, Dep. Dunnigan, and Rep. Morley voting in opposition. Rep. Draxler and Rep. Sandstrom were absent for the vote.


H.B. 224    Political Subdivisions - Report of Receipts of Federal Money (Rep. K. Ivory)

Rep. Ivory introduced the bill to the committee and provided a handout.

MOTION:    Rep. Anderson moved to amend the bill as follows:


1.    Page 3, Lines 85 through 86 :    

             85          (5) The Division of Finance shall submit the report required by Subsection (4) to the
             86      Executive Appropriations Committee on or before
