Chair Noel called the meeting to order at 4:01 p.m.
MOTION: Rep. Wilcox moved to approve the minutes of the February 9, 2012 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Dougall, Rep. Herrod, Rep. Ivory, and Rep. Snow absent for the vote.
H.J.R. 9 Joint Resolution on Monetary Declaration (Rep. B. Galvez)
MOTION: Rep. Wilcox moved to adopt 1st Substitute H.J.R. 9. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Dougall, Rep. Herrod, Rep. Ivory, and Rep. Snow absent for the vote.
Rep. Galvez introduced 1st Substitute H.J.R. 9, highlighting the changes made from the original resolution. He was assisted by Larry Hilton, representing Citizens for Sound Money.
Spoke in favor of the bill: David Garrett, investment advisor
MOTION: Rep. Herrod moved to pass the resolution out favorably. The motion passed with Rep. Hemingway, Rep. Hendrickson, and Rep. Handy voting in opposition to the motion.

H.B. 366 Receipt of Welfare Benefits Amendments (Rep. J. Dougall)

Rep. Barlow introduced the bill, assisted by Mark Thomas, Lieutenant Governor's Office.

MOTION: Rep. Hendrickson moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Dougall absent for the vote.
