Vice Chair Anderson called the meeting to order at 4:06 p.m.

H.B. 255    Motor Vehicle Business Regulation Penalties (Rep. D. Ipson)

Rep. Ipson introduced the bill to the committee.

Spoke for the bill:    Mr. Wayne Jones, Independent Auto Dealers Association
            Mr. Michael Cragun, Utah State Tax Commission

MOTION:    Rep. Kiser moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously         with Rep. Harper absent for the vote.

H.B. 16    Driver License Revisions (Rep. S. Barlow)


Rep. Barlow introduced the bill to the committee.

Spoke for the bill:     Nanette Rolfe, Director Drivers License Division



MOTION
:    Rep. Fisher moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously         with Rep. Val Peterson absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Moss moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously, with         Rep. Val Peterson absent for the vote.

Vice Chair Anderson adjourned the meeting at 4:35 p.m.
