Chair Daw called the meeting to order at 4:06 p.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Handy moved to approve the minutes of the January 30, 2012 meeting. The         motion passed unanimously with Rep. Barlow absent for the vote.

H.B. 92    Boating Revisions (Rep. R. Greenwood)

Rep. Greenwood introduced the bill to the committee and provided a handout.

Spoke for the bill:    Mr. Scottie Sorensen, Weber County Sheriffs Departmnet
            Mr. David Harris, Division of Parks and Recreation

MOTION:    Rep. Kiser moved to proceed to the next item on the agenda. The motion passed         unanimously.

H.C.R. 7    Concurrent Resolution Designating Veterans Memorial Highway (Rep. C. Herrod)


Rep. Herrod introduced the resolution to the committee.



MOTION:    Rep. Nielson moved to adopt 1st Substitute H.C.R. 7. The motion passed              unanimously with Rep. Val Peterson absent for the vote.

Spoke for the resolution:    Mr. Andrew Wilson, Citizen (a handout was provided)
                Mr. Gerald Hubbard, Citizen

MOTION:    Rep. Kiser moved to pass 1st Substitute H.C.R. 7 out favorably. The motion         passed unanimously with Rep. Val Peterson absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Kiser moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously.

Chair Daw adjourned the meeting at 5:03 p.m.
