             7      LONG TITLE
             8      General Description:
             9          This bill amends the Medical Assistance Act of the Health Code.
             10      Highlighted Provisions:
             11          This bill:
             12          .    requires the Department of Health to issue a request for proposal to provide vision
             13      services to all Medicaid populations within appropriations from the Legislature.
             14      Money Appropriated in this Bill:
             15          None
             16      Other Special Clauses:
             17          None
             18      Utah Code Sections Affected:
             19      ENACTS:
             20          26-28-17, Utah Code Annotated 1953

             22      Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
             23          Section 1. Section 26-28-17 is enacted to read:
             24          26-28-17. Medicaid vision services -- Request for proposals.
             25          The department may select S. [ a contractor ] one or more contractors .S in accordance
             25a      with Title 63G, Chapter 6, Utah
             26      Procurement Code, to provide vision services to all Medicaid populations S. without restricting
             26a      provider participation, and .S within existing
             27      appropriations from the Legislature.
