8 General Description:
9 This bill amends the Medical Assistance Act of the Health Code.

12 . requires the Department of Health to issue a request for proposal to provide vision
13 services to all Medicaid populations within appropriations from the Legislature.

22 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
23 Section 1. Section 26-28-17 is enacted to read:
24 26-28-17. Medicaid vision services -- Request for proposals.
25 The department may select one or more contractors in accordance with Title 63G,
26 Chapter 6, Utah Procurement Code, to provide vision services to all Medicaid populations
27 without restricting provider participation, and within existing appropriations from the
28 Legislature.
